Introduction

I want to accomplish a few things with this blog. Firstly, I'd like to help contribute Canadian political and news content in a landscape dominated by American media. I've always been interested in politics and I've got somewhat of a background with a minor in Public Policy & Administration, so I figure why not give this a try? Secondly, it will help me become more invested and knowledgeable about the country I live in. Thirdly, it will be a fun way to practice writing political and news content. That's about it for now.
